In broad terms, NAXIS comprises five discreet but inter-relating components:
1. Product demand forecasting
- (a) Short term (b) Long term
2. Footfall forecasting
- (a) Short term (b) Long term
3. Consumer behaviour analysis
In both the short and long term, the NAXIS system consistently supplies very much more accurate forecasts than any other system currently in use.
In short term (1-14 day) forecasting, by recognising and utilising all the key drivers of consumer decision-making, integrating this into the analysis stage and using a specific numerical weather forecast, NAXIS generates uniquely more accurate demand predictions. This has a huge impact on supply chain issues. Better availability, reduction of stock, reduction of storage space and reduction of waste on short life products are only some of the benefits.
Near perfect forecasting of consumers' decision-making gives a hugely accurate demand forecast for longer time frames (14 days+). This is particularly useful for seasonal products, where the NAXIS System can accurately predict the start and end dates of a 'season'. This allows you to manage stock levels throughout the period, and make sure that zero stock levels are achieved at the end. This leads to reduced stock cost and improved margins by controlled mark down.
